Es Grau located on the east coast just to the north of Mahon. It is a very picturesque little village with a large rounded beach which is very sheltered and is ideal for children. Pedloes are available to hire.

Dunes surround the beach and there are lovely walks up over the headland or through the dunes to the lake behind. The village boasts a couple of lovely restaurants and bars, and in the summer boat trips are available across to the Isla de Colom.

To the west is a saltwater lake known as S’Albufera and is an area a of Natural Special Interest, and is now a National Park. the whole area is rerceiving funds to help the conservation and re-planting schemes have been undertaken. Visitors can now enjoy raised wooden walkways and better paths around this nature reserve.
