Cala Blanes is situated on the west coast of Minorca just 2K from Ciutadella, the religious capital of Menorca.

Cala Blanes is really just an extension of Cala Forcat the liveliest rersort on Menorca, The area as a whole being known as Los Delfines.

Cala Blanes is though, the quieter end of the area and has the best of the three beaches on this part of the coast line. Being only a short walk from Calan Forcat Cala Blanes has the best of both worlds.

Most of the accommodation is comprises of villas, mostly privately owned but there are a couple of hotels and apartment complexes.

Cala Blanes is close enough to Cala Forcat, about a 15-20 minute walk, for a riotous night out, but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep.

Ciutadella, which is only a short bus ride away is a must see on your visit. To wander round the alleyways and former palaces during the day is very pleasant, and at night the port area comes alive with fine restaurants and lively clubs that open late where you can dance till the sun comes up.
